ZEROGAP RECON

Privacy Policy — ZeroGap Desk Log Age

Effective November 4, 2026

ZeroGap Desk Log Age (the "Extension") is a Chrome extension for ZeroGap Recon users. It shows how long a vehicle has been in inventory, taken from the user's own ZeroGap Recon account, next to stock numbers on the eLead Desk Log page, and alerts the user when an aged vehicle appears. This policy explains what the Extension accesses, stores, and sends.

Information the Extension accesses

Information sent off your device

No other data is sent anywhere. The Extension does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party services.

Information stored on your device

The Extension stores the following in Chrome's local extension storage: your session tokens and email, your display settings (age thresholds, notification and sound options), and a record of which Desk Log entries have already triggered an alert so the same entry is not announced twice. Alert records are deleted automatically after three days.

How information is used

Information is used only to show vehicle age badges and to alert you about aged vehicles. We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties, do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the Extension's single purpose, and do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending.

Access to vehicle data

Age lookups are made with your own ZeroGap Recon login, so you can only retrieve information for vehicles your account is permitted to see.

Remote code

The Extension does not load or run remote code. All code is included in the extension package.

Retention and deletion

Click "Log out" in the Extension to delete your stored session. Removing the Extension deletes all of its locally stored data. Recon account data is governed by the ZeroGap Recon service and your organization's agreement.

Security

All communication with ZeroGap Recon and its sign-in service uses HTTPS. The Extension requests access only to the sites it needs: the eLead Desk Log, the ZeroGap Recon API, and the ZeroGap Recon sign-in service.

Changes to this policy
